Yes, they were several times. If you are coming to Rochester, stop at the Local History Division in the downtown Rundel Library, as they have an offline card file of what streets were changed and when. But their city directories are online, and in the streets area of the directories, the changed street are given, I believe that they were changed en masse about 1884 and again in the early teens.

While the city archives (a ten minute walk from the library, but with access restrictions) does have pictures of every building in the city you can try this for views:
