I am wondering if there is any connection between the KLEM's of New York state and my KLEM's. My grandmother's name was Lillian Olivette (Olive) KLEHM. She was born March 23, 1898 to Ernest William KLEHM and his wife, Lottie SMITH. He is in the 1870 U.S. Census for Newark, NJ under a Baptist KLEM,b.1823, and Magdalena (Flath?,),b. 1830. His birth date is listed as Sept. of 1852. I also found an 1850 census listing a Babptist KLEHM (sic Babist KLEM) in Newark, NJ.
Baptist lists his place of origin as Baden, Germany and his wife's as Hesse-Darmstadt. His occupation is listed as coach lace weaver. The rest of his children are as follows:

Anna, b.~1855
John, b.1857
Lena, b.1860 (I have made a connection with some of her descendants.)
Elizabeth, b.1865
Emma, b.1867
Josephine, b.1869
Charles, b.1872

I am very curious to know if there is any connection or just a very large coincidence.

Thanks for your time.
