"Joseph Geisler, of No. 229 remington
street, was operating the automobile and
his wife, Amelia, was in the front seat
with him. Mrs. Florence Heidt, a
daughter, was in the rear seat, with Edmond
Geisler, a younger brother, on her
lap. Beside her sat Teresa and Joseph
Geisler, Jr., two other children."etc some of the print is difficult to read, but they all lived in rochester, and address and relationships are described. there is a great deal more on all of these, and your mothers families at this site. search creatively and thoroughly, and follow all leads. optical search engine confused by blurry, smeared, wrinkled, etc., old newsprint.u will find aricles both before and after this incident., back to the 1890's. also, from the oswego paper, sept 1917 -Rochester, Sept. 10.—Five persons
were killed and one probably fatally j
injured yesterday when an automobile
was struck by a fast train on the
Lehigh Valley Railroad at Haslit
crossing, one mile west of the village
of Rush. .
The dead are: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Geisler, and their children, Edwin,
13; Theresa, 18, and Mrs. George
Heidt, 25.
Joseph Geisler, Jr., 16, is in the
hospital with a fractured skull.
july 14 1901-rochester paper-this one is helpful-Mrs. Rosina Wirth, wife of Sebastian
Wirth, died yesterday morning at the family
residence. No. 131 Clifford street, sged
67 years. The deceased is survival by
three sons, Louis, August and Rev. Dr.
Wirth, of St. Bernard's Seminar^, and
three daughters, Mrs. Edmund Stockschlater,
Mrs. Joseph Geisler and Mrs. Joseph
