I AM NOT A PUTNAM/ AUSTIN DESCENDENT, but
I'm looking for the descendents of JOHN S. AUSTIN (B: 9/26/1852) and ROSE CURTIS(S)-AUSTIN (B: 6/24/1859). they lived in Syracuse, N.Y. according to the 1930 U.S. Census (Lines 1 & 2). They Lived at 2003 Bellows Ave. #270.
They lived next door to John & Rose's DAUGHTER & HUSBAND who were; RAYMOND E. and BERTHA A. (AUSTIN-)PUTNAM & they lived at 2001 Bellows Ave. #271 (Lines 4 & 5).
The reason I am searching for their Descendents is that I have a medium sized Family Bible of JOHN & ROSE AUSTIN that has quite a bit of family information (i.e. Births Marrages, Deaths, etc). I found the Bible in the library of our church (OLD TENNENT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH of TENNENT, N.J.). When I saw all of the information inside, I asked our Minister if it was o.k. if I found the AUSTIN Family and returned this treasure to them. This is FREE, I ask nothing in return! I just want to make sure that it goes to the correct AUSTIN/PUTNAM Family.
I have been looking for about 3 years and in my research I've added quite a bit of additional family info that I will also send along FREE to the correct AUSTIN/PUTNAM Descendent..
As a genealogy researcher myself, I know how treasured and precious this Bible would be to the Grandchildren and their generations to follow.
