I'm still here. I understand very well how it goes with genealogy research so no need to apologize. I was in Gettysburg last summer with my family and we visited the Military Park and Museum. Is that where you work?

Thank you for the new info about James & Catherine Byrne's earlier arrival date. Yes, they must have made two trips.

Prior to seeing your board post, I had found out about (O')Broderick being Catherine's maiden name. I think I have newspaper articles about her and James running a saloon in Syracuse. I'll post them to my tree here when I get a chance. Thank you for the info about their daughter Annie and their burial locations. All new to me.

Have you done the AncestryDNA test? My husband has and he has a confirmed match on his Higgins line, a 3rd cousin once removed. It would be great if the two of you matched up on the Byrne/Burns line.
