I have traced my family to a Joseph Darling b-1806 in onondaga county..D 1895..Spafford onondaga county ny.I am 99% sure his father was Comfort darling and his mom was Caroline. Joseph and wife Polly Spaulding had 12 children.. 2 of these were Katherine Darling Eddy Newman.. one of her brothers was John Darling. I am looking to verify that the child of Katherine (clara Eddy) and a child of John ( Frank Darling) were 1st cousins when married. also Frank mother shows up as Hattie Knapp upon her death in 1919 in Auburn ny cayuga county... Joseph would be my GGGG grandfather... any info helpful and welcomed....
