I am looking for anyone who has any knowledge of my Great
Grandfather LEONARD BURDETTE PARISH. From about the late
1880's thru 1917 he was involved with law enforcement in
Onondaga County and many other area's of upstate New York.
This was in the day's before the New York State Police. When
upstate New York was just as lawless as the western frontier
and the WHITE MAN WAS THE ONLY PREDITOR. A lot of people in
upstate New York today don't realize how sparsely populated
that area of New York was. Which made it a prime area for the lawless to hide from whom ever. If you prefer to write
my address is 1220, C R 4511, Hondo, Texas, 78861. If you
prefer not to tell me what you know maybe you can point me
in the right direction for me to research what you know.
Sounds crazy dosen't it. As a young boy in North Syracuse
everybody new about him now even the PROBATE COURT IN SYRACUSE TRIED TO TELL ME HE NEVER EXSISTED. I will not give
up.!!! " So There Youall"
