Arthur A. Gilcher

Arthur A. Gilcher, 74, former partner in a local bookbinding firm, died yesterday at his home, 237 E. Kennedy St.

A native Syracusan, Mr. Gilcher had been a partner until recently in the firm of Ehrhardt & Gilcher.

He was a 50-year member of Salt Springs Lodge 520, F&AM. He was also a member of First English Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bessie Gilcher; a daughter, Mrs. Cora Coyne of Geneva; three grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Gilcher, and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Schultz of Syracuse and Miss Alma Gilcher of California.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the family home. The Rev. Dr. Frank H. Shimer of First English Lutheran Church will officiate.

Friends may call at the home at their convenience. Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the American Cancer Society.
