In Hymen's chains again
"It's not good for man to be alone" anyway, that is what Mr. Georg Finck senior and Mrs. Emilie VanLengen of 325 Gifford Street thought, for last Tuesday these two did away with their widow's and widower's existence and married in the office of Pastor J. A. Weyl of New York.
Pastor Weyl, an old friend of the VanLengen family, had prepared everything for the wedding as planned and arranged before. Only the family of the pastor assisted the wedding. After the wedding meal the wedding voyage was started - to the Blue mountains of Virginia, to spend the honeymoon there. Unfortunately the voyage didn't last long, for upon a telegraphical call, they had to return to Syracuse to assist here today with the interment of their sister-in-law, Mrs. August Finck, who died on Tuesday and will be laid to her last rest today.
The newly wed couple will have their home at 1027 West Genesee Street.
