Where is the village of Burton, Ontario County, NY (and the McCreery's)

Birth: 1 AUG 1808 in Burton, Ontario Co, New York
Death: 25 MAR 1881 in Flint, Michigan
Is Burton in Ontario County or possibly Wayne or Monroe Counties? Has any one ever heard of this family in Ontario?
I think Reubens family might have lived in Wayne and Ontario Counties possibly the Son of John or George McCreery b. 1788, but I never heard of this village.
