Surnames: Dowdle, Drake
I have a direct-line ancestor William Drake who married Margaret Dowdle. According to the Church Records (St. Thomas Anglican, St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada) of their deaths, i have as follows:
Margaret Dowdle Drake, d. 3 December 1848 at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 18 days for which FTM calculates a date of birth of 15 September 1768.
William Drake, d. 10 June 1842, aged 80 years, 11 months, 27 days for which FTM calculates a date of birth of 14 June 1761.
I have an interesting family story of said William and am seeking "proofs" as such may exist of said family story. If anyone wishes to follow up i am reachable at philipgross@norcross.ca.
