Richard Dowdle (b. abt 1745 in Goshen, Orange, NY d. 11 Sept. 1800 Niagara, Ontario, Canada)
He married 17 July 1766 Anna Wisner (Wisener) (b. abt 1747 d. ?)

He is listed in the 1790 census (Minisink, Orange, NY)
Minisink back then included a very large area so that doesn't help.

Their children were all born in Orange County:
Thomas (b. abt 1767 -buried 10 Apr 1840 in Rochester, NY)
I don’t know if he married or had a family.

Margaret Dowdle
(b. 13 Nov 1768 -d. 31 Dec 1848 St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada)
married abt 1790 in Orange County, NY Capt. William Drake
(b. 30 Jul 1757 Orange County, NY -d. 10 Jun 1842 St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada) They had eleven children.

Anna Dowdle
(b. abt 1770 -buried 17 Dec 1833 Rochester, NY)
married in Niagara, Ontario 15 Mar 1795 William B. Wallace
(b. 26 Dec 1758 Londonderry, Rockingham, NH -d. 6 Aug 1823 Rochester, Monroe, NY) They had seven children.

Mary Ann Dowdle
(b. abt 1772 -d. 13 Nov 1852 Buffalo, Erie, NY)
married in Orange County, NY Phineas J. Howell
(b. 1768 Orange County, NY -d. aft 1815 in New York)
They had three children. After Phineas died, she married James Wallace (see below) in NY. No additional children.

Charity Dowdle
(b. abt 1776 -d. 23 Feb 1797 Niagara, Ontario, Canada)
married 17 Jul 1796 in Niagara, Ontario, James Wallace
(b. 31 Mar 1763 Londonderry, Rockingham, NH -d. 23 Nov 1852 Buffalo, Erie, NY) They had no children. James and William
Wallace were brothers.
