Here is an obit for John Brown
GOSHEN DEMOCRAT 31DEC1903
John Brown, for many years a well known resident of this village, died at his home on Murray Avenue, yesterday afternoon aged about 73 years. He was born in Ireland and came to this country half a century ago, settling in Goshen. For several years past his health has been declining and he has been unable to work. He is survived by his wife who was Margaret Greeves, and by four children, Mrs. Mary Donohue, Miss Annie Brown and John Brown, Jr., all at home, and Annie, wife of Michael Donohue, of New York.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Church. The interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Middletown.
