MOUNT AIRY — Christopher Michael Herman, 16, of Mount Airy, formerly of Otisville, N.Y., died Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Middletown, N.Y.

Christopher is preceded in death by his grandfather, Hector Camacho of Port Jervis, N.Y.; grandmothers, Rebecca Munsch of Otisville and Dorothy McBride of Port Jervis.

Christopher leaves behind his mother, Jodie Mains and husband Robert of Otisville; father, Shawn Herman and wife Stephanie of North Carolina; brother, Brandon Herman of Otisville; three sisters, Samantha and Candace Mains of Otisville and Zoie Herman of North Carolina; grandfather, Albert Munsch Jr. of Otisville; uncles, Albert Munsch III of Otisville, Jeffrey Munsch and wife Amy of Middletown and Hector Camacho Jr. of Port Jervis; aunt, MonaLisa Anthony and husband Michael of Port Jervis; cousins, Caelan and Sienna Munsch of Middletown and Mikey and Lia Anthony of Port Jervis; and great aunts and great uncles.
