Surnames: Holmes, Wyatt
Does anyone know anything about a William Holmes, b1772 in Newburgh, who married Mary Wyatt. Their children were David, William, Thomas and Daniel. A ship's carpenter, he is sometimes referred to as "Deacon William Holmes." Later he moved to Susquehanna County, PA, where he died. Would like to correspond with anyone who has knowledge of the Holmes and Wyatt families in Newburgh in the late 18th century.
