I am Ken Treanor from Christchurch New Zealand and I am researching my Treanor family. My Gt-grandfather HENRY Treanor was born in New York in 1833. His father was JOHN Treanor who probably came out from Ireland. I have no knowledge of the name of his mother.
I have traced Henry via the 1850 Census to the town of CORNWALL, Orange Co.NY at the age of 16. He was living on a small farm with a family called COCK. Henry came out to New Zealand around 1856, settled and raised a family. I would be very grateful for any information on my US Treanor family.
