Frances H. Herron
June 29, 2009 Frances H. Herron, 92, formerly of South Sixth Street, Fulton, and Bishop Commons, Oswego, died Monday June 29, in Loretto Heights after a long illness. Mrs. Herron was born in Fulton, the daughter of the late Raymond and Nellie (Ciecko) Grandjean. She retired from the Nestle Company, Fulton as a machine operator after forty-five years of service. Mrs. Herron and her husband Robert previously owned Herron's Fabric Center in Fulton. Mrs. Herron was a former member of the Fulton Women's Club, the Women of Rotary, and the Decorators Club in Fulton. She was a member of the Fulton, Mexico and Granby Senior Citizens. Mrs. Herron was predeceased by her husband, Robert Herron in 1988, and her brothers Frederick Grandjean in 1962, and Carl Grandjean in 2005. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Patricia Grandjean Bailey of Oswego; nieces and nephews, Mary (Harry) Powell of Hannibal, Linda Moore of Camden, Janice (Craig) Howard of TN, Gayle (Mike) Davis of Oswego, Dennis (Kathy) Grandjean of Sodus Bay, Joyce (Larry) Croucher of Oswego, Phillip (Lori) Bailey of Fulton, Patrick Bailey of Canandaigua, and their families. Funeral services will be Friday 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, (corner of Rochester & South Third St.). Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 West Second Street S., Fulton. Donations may be made to the residents fund of Loretto Heights Oswego, or Bishop Commons, Oswego.
