Hi there! I am thrilled to see this chain. I am a direct maternal descendant of Maria McMullen who married Hunter Crane.

I'm trying to learn more about Maria's mother/Neil's wife. I have seen this family named spelled Neal McMullen as well. I've seen conflicting info that he was from either Pennsylvania or Scotland. Does anyone have evidence either way? Was she Mary Rankin? It would seem likely based on her children's name Maria and Rankin!
