Looking for the parents of Frances Katherine Shafer of Hartwick, NY

Frances Katherine Shafer, died April 11th, in Lansing, Mich., following an operation. She was born September 19,1870, and as a young girl came to Hartwick, NY with her parents, the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Shafer. He was pastor of the Hartwick Christian church. She married Frank Miller, who died two years afterwards. Later, she married Nealon D. Rutherford (my great.. grandfather). of Hartwick. Frances had a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Carolyn) Miller, Lansing, Michigan.
