I found an 11 year old Lewis Carbon in the 1850 census of Massena, Saint Lawrence Co. The stamped page number is 373. He is living with the family of Ephraim Heyer, age 61. On the previous page there is a 10 year old Frank Carbon living with the family of William J Paddock.
You might also want to check the listings of baptisms at St Patrick's church. There are several Carbino baptisms from the 1840's which will help you identify some of the wives of the other Carbino men you mention. You might also keep an eye open in the French Catholic records of that time for the last name Charboneau.
