The latest census I found them on is the 1905 NY State Census for Middleburgh(name is misspelled as Cronix) page 26...

They do not appear on the 1910 Federal Census that I could find so may have passed away between 1905 and 1910 or were relocated elsewhere (see below). It may be that some inmates were buried without markers on the Almshouse property as they had some 160 acres according to Schoharie Poorhouse History... http://www.poorhousestory.com/SCHOHARIE.htm

so perhaps the Cronics were relocated if still living as all inmates were safely removed from the building. My guess is records may have burned in the fire, too.

Since this article was published abt 6 months after the fire, it may be safe to assume your Cronics were relocated after the fire.

The Schoharie County clerk might be able to tell you where to find more info, might even have death records for Ann and Jeremiah. I don't know if they have brought them back from safekeeping yet; records were removed because of the flood in 2010.
