The name "Eli S. Dickens" caught my eye. I have an "Eli S. Dickens" on my wife's side of the family.
Eli S. b: 3 April 1801 or maybe in 1805), d: 19 Nov 1882, m: 1823 to Roxanna Culver. Eli was the son of Robert (I do not have his mother's name). I show 11 children. I show he lived in both Tompkins and Schuyler Counties. My wife descends via Chauncey Dickens b: 1845/6, d: 23 Dec 1937, m: 7 Dec 1874 to Mary Elizabeth Strang (Le'Strang).
