Thank you so much: I had not spent much time on the Beckwith line and your email reminded me that I needed to work on it; I have been in contact with a Beckwith cousin in Austraila, who had sent me a family tree. Using the census info you sent I reread some of the letters he had sent from my gggrandfather in RI back to a niece and that has really made him seem real to me. I also found out that Mary was a younger sister and John was a nephew. Thanks again.
