In searching for the family of Leroy Brooks in Schuyler Co.,his mother's maiden name being Ellen Bell, I believe her parents to be John Bell and Priscilla Clark Bell. One of their children was John H. Bell, married to Evaline Bailey. In 1914 John H & Evaline were listed in Am. Agriculturist at r.r.1 Burdett Highway (9 children), farmer, works on shares 100 acres. 1870 Lodi Census lists parents John Bell 40 (b.England) Priscilla 26, (b.NY)
