Thank you for the reply. I am lead to believe that Krisher,Crasher,Kreicher etc have been miss-spelled through the years. As a child growing up in Steuben county my Uncle used the last name of KRISHAR, and a letter sent to him (I only have the outside envelope) the return is KARCHER. Thusly the reason to do a search of all similar. MY mother started about 30 years ago and did include Karcher in her notes.. Do you have any information on KRISHER? ...I find it very pecular that the history of movement from Penn to NY, time frame and the names are so closely matched in "sounding"
