Hello All.

No one seems to know who is buried in the cemetery that was associated with Central Islip State Hospital. The cemetery was on the hospital grounds. Now, I understand, the grounds belong to a college. The cemetery is still there.

I have just received a copy of the death certificate of Dudley Bernstein that confirms he was buried in the hospital cemetery. Dudley was an inmate at the hospital for over 25 years. He died in 1947.

If anyone is keeping a list of the burials in that cemetery, please add Dudley Bernstein to the list.
