I recently found family Bible records which include the wedding of Leah Hephzibah Walker to John Smith in 1840. Looking through Ancestry.com's family trees I found a Leah Hephzibah Walker married to a John Van Wyck Smith of Suffolk county. In the 1850 census John Van Wyck Smith was married to a Mary A. and lived in Islip. He did have a daughter named Hephzibah W.. Does anyone know about this family? I assume that Leah Hephzibah died before 1850. Did she have any children? When and where did she die?
