Greetings,
Warren R. Lanning 1847- buried at the Rolfe Cemetery, also, buried there is a Jasper Lanning 1790-1865 and a William Lanning 1779-1859.
I believe Jasper and Wm. are brothers and son's of Amos Lanning and Lois Reed of Hopewell, Hunterdon, New Jersey.
My reference is only that a "William Laning mar. Anna Applegate and removed to western New York", and, "Jasper Lanning mar. Mary Van Kirk and 2nd Phebe Van Kirk. Resided in western New York".
I am hoping to sort out the children of the brothers, connect the families to Amos and Lois and connect the families to the Lannings buried at the Grove Cemetery in the Enfield area.
I have a very large Lanning tree and I am trying to fill in the Amos and Lois (Reed) Lanning descendants.
