They lived mostly in Kingston, Saugerties and Glasco, but in the late 1800s some branches moved south to Brooklyn, Manhattan and New Jersey. Helen SALISBURY married William FELTER

John Edward SALISBURY married Margaret PLASS and had 15 children, including Mary (1881), Stanton (1883), Minerva (1885), Howard (1887), Elting (1889), Helen (1892), Marguerite (1894), Edward (1896), LeRoy (1897), Robert (1898), and Howard (1900). This family moved to Brooklyn at some point.

William P. SALISBURY married Melissa Jane WHITAKER and had 6 children: Edna (1875), Wessel Bevere (1877)[my ggrandfather], Charles Vedder (1880), Helen C. "Nellie" (1883), William (1886), and Stephen (1894).
