I am looking for information on the BALLOU family. There is an Asa BALLOU listed in the Ancestral File who lived in Thurman, New York, born ca. 1831. His parents are BOTH listed as Daxiua BALLOU. One born 1805, the other 1809. Grandparents: Hiram BALLOU and Olive Gambole.
I am trying to find out if this is the same Asa BALLOU, born 29 Jan 1835, who removed to Jones county, Iowa ca. 1854, along with his father, Jerah, and brother, Andrew.
Any bit of information about the BALLOU family in Warren county would help.
