There were two William MacDonalds in Warren County. The one in Queensbury was well off. The other was in Warrensburg and apparently died before 1840. The one from Warrensburg was born about 1800-1805, his father had been born in Scotland.
William MacDonald of Warrensbug married Marinda Eggleston.
Their sons include, Wing A, Edwin, John and William, there were two daughters names unknown. The sons enlisted in the Civil War. William later moved to Indian Lake in Hamilton COunty, NY. There is information on the Hamilton COunty genweb site for William and his family.
