I, too, have Linehan relatives that came to Cincinnati. My great, great grandmother Julia Linehan arrived in Cinti. circa 1870. Her sister Mary Linehan Daly (Patrick) was already here. Julia, b. 1847 on Irish Sea as her parents were leaving Ireland for Wales. Her brother and sisters were born in Ireland. She had a sister Mary, b. 1832; a sister Catherine, b. 1835 and a brother Bartholomew, b. 1844. Her father was David Linehan and her mother's maiden name was Desmond. Julia married Jeremiah Callahan shortly after arriving in Cincinnati. I found Julia and her father and siblings in the 1851 Wales Census. Her mother must have died as she went to London to live with her sister Kate. Kate eventually married and went to Australia. Neither of them could write, so they lost touch. Bartholomew married Ann Burke in England and then came to America. He had a daughter Anna baptized in Cinti. I think he moved up East somewhere. Hope this helps you. I would appreciate any info you may have that may include my ancesters. Thanks. Nancenance
