Surnames: Odell, Wells, Jenkins, Comstock, Stower, Lane, Wooley, Wheeler, Brown, Patten, Hyatt
Here is what I have on those Odells in Queensbury:
Samuel Odell, son of Augustine, was born 14 Jan. 1770 and died at Galen, Wayne County, 17 Jan. 1843. He m. Elizabeth Wells, b. 3 Dec. 1777, perh. a dau. of James Wells of Sanfords Ridge, Queensbury. She d. 1 Jan. 1825. Samuel appears in Queensbury censuses of 1800 (Odle, 40010/00010), 1810 (20210/21201) and 1820 (211100/21000/02) and on the early but undated assessment roll of Queensbury. In 1804 Samuel Odel and wife Elizabeth sold to Wright and Stephen Jenkins of Queensbury the 50-acre farm in Lot 4 that was later the Lyman Bardin farm (Wsh H/370), making it seem likely that Elizabeth was connected with the Quaker Wells family of the Ridge because this property was next to the James Wells farm. Samuel had a second farm on today's Ridge Road, just south of Halfway Brook and near the present (1987) Florence Comstock residence. He and wife Elizabeth sold this 30-acre tract to Dr. Asa Stower in 1810. It seems likely that Samuel is the one of that name listed in the 1830 census index for Galen, Wayne County. Children:
