Have you heard about the State of NY's plan to run a powerline through the Waldron family cemetery in Stony Point, NY?

Apparently, the state has been petitioned by Rockland county, Stony Point, citizens, businesses and organizations to stop the Champlain Hudson Power Express from being drilled thru the cemetery which would destroy the remains and headstones.

Buried here is Resolved Waldron's son Johannes (of the Hill), his son Resolvert, his son Adrian and Adrian's son Edward Waldron. Besides being founders of early NYC (New Amsterdam), several served in the Revolutionary War.
