It's good to hear from a cousin :) Like I said, my great-grandmother was Sarah Jane Safrit/Safret sister to your Henry Carter Safrit. She married Thomas Gus McGuire and moved to Dyer County, Tennessee. I found the maiden name of Paul's wife, Margaret. You can view at

I haven't been able to figure out who her parents were but I definately believe she is related to Frederick Cartner. It would be great if we could work on this together.
