Dear Folks:
I am interested in information on: *William Hampton SIMMONS, who operated one of the first 200 automobile manufacturing plants in Polkton, NC (Anson County). The water tower for it is still in place. His first wife was a BENNET? His second, much younger wife was *Alice Georgia (Georgie) HARRINGTON Simmons Curtis Rosenberger of between Polkton and Sugartown. Her (great)aunt?, a *SULLIVAN from Wadesboro, left my father, Robert Hampton Simmons, Sr. some money in the 1930's to buy a car, which he obeyed.

And any info on their ancestors.

The *HAMPTON in my father's name was a family name. His grandfather was John? Simmons.

Thank you,
Brian Simmons
