Solomon Stone & Family to Asenath Perry Robinson
ZDP#usncbrd00015
This indenture is unusual in that it involves Solomon Stone (administrator of the Estate of the recently deceased Abraham "Abram" Perry) and his wife Priscilla Perry Stone (daughter of Abraham Perry and his wife Anne Perry), William Stone (another son-in-law of Abraham Perry and a brother to Solomon Stone), Sarah Stone Perry (sister to Priscilla) and Abraham's widow Anne Perry, of the one part, and Ascenath Perry Robinson, illegitimate daughter of Abraham Perry and his mistress-Mary Robinson, of the other part. This deed occurs during the middle of Abraham Perry's estate settlement, and is only one of several deeds involving Mary Robinson and her children in what appears to be a "pay-off" of sorts. As with the deed to her brother, Ascenath "Sena" is only a child at the time of this transaction.
