George Packer was my great grandfather. Blanche Russ Packer was his first wife. My grandfather was Worth Packer. I have been to the grave yard where Blanche is buried many times. If you have been unable to locate it I would be happy to meet you and lead you there. My grandmother told me the story of what happened many times before her death. I have been trying to research my family history for sometime, but it is difficult as the Bladen county courthouse has burned to the ground no less than three times over the years.
