!MARRIAGE: 'Greene Co, TN Marriages', from USGenWeb archives, lists a Barney Landers marriage to Peny Shelton on 19 Sep 1822. This must have been a 2nd marriage for Barney.

!POLL BOOKS: '1835 Poll Books NC, 12th Congressional District', at Macon Co public library, by Biddix, 'Yancey Co, NC, Laurel precinct' lists Barney Landers (2 of them are listed. Could Barney have had a son Barney?), William Landers, and John Landers.
