I also have Thomas Sawyer (several throughout the family tree) and I have a brother Marion. However, in a book I have I find a Marion Sawyer b. 1864, d. 1928, and buried in Staunton City Cemetery, Macoupin County, IL He married Malinda Funderburk b. 1865, d. 1944, and also buried same cemetery. Their children: Lenora married a Purdy. The Funderburks came from Germany.
