Hi! I am trying to establish a line of descendancy so I may join the DAR. I am in NH, and need to know if you have any record of the following:

John Lanning died 8/10/1839
his wife Sarah Whitaker died 5/26/1848

Amos Lanning b. 11/18/1786
Mary Gallimore b. 12/1/1799

Elbert Lorenzo Lanning b.1825
his wife Mary- b.1826

John Lorenzo Lanning b. 1857 d.7/17/1905
his wife Elizabeth Parker married 1881

Charles Griffith Lanning b.6/4/1878 d. 6/30/1957
his wife Altunie(?) Brookshire b. 6/16/1879 d. 7/8/1927 married in Asheville 11/10/1895 by a Rev. Parkham

Many were buried in "Old Cane Creek" Cemetary, but I cannot locate this place. I've tried calling the Cane Creek Baptist Church 628-3396 with no answer. All were residents of (then Rowan) Buncombe Co.
