i acess the burke co land and history file this week searching for some ancestors..i came across the file on joseph p. morgan in burke co around the 1780 all the way to 1800...but he is shown in haywood co in 1800 and 1810 census...he was a deputy sheriff and justice of peace and looks to serve in revolutionary war..he settle around the catawba river...does anyone have any info on this joseph...was shown with capt james mackey company..also there was daniel, ann,elias, and john and moredecai...thanks for any help you can give me...
