he died in 1820, story goes he may have been murdered by John Vance (E Davis' next husband). He may have fathered Alfred and Frances Vaughn, with Elizabeth, and Frances Vaughn would be my great x4 grandmother. Trying to figure this out - anyone have a clue?
Where did he come from? What was his race? Was he Frances' father?
