I am interested in any WOODARD families in Franklin/ Bute/ Warren Co NC. There were several in that time period, John & William specifically. Several things have been found concerning them:

1) John Woodard (orphan of William Woodard, dec'd.) bound to Elisha Sims, Feb. Ct., 1810.===RECORDS OF ESTATES, WARREN CO., NC: 1805-1833, by David Gammon

2) In 1797, "James (age 18 last Christmas) bound to William Woodard, Feb. Ct., 1797" ====Records of Estate, Warren Co., NC, Vol 1, Estates found in Court Records 1780-1805

3) William Woodard signed the Oath of Allegiance in Bute Co.
