Ron, I enjoyed reading your letter as well as your postings about the Almon-Coleman connections. I have found more info in the Cabarrus County site than all others I have search. Wm. Coleman was the Brother of Alfred Monroe Coleman, my ggrandfather. Both served in the 7th Reg. B company. Alfred was married to Nellie Dry of Cabarrus Cty and survived the war. He died in 1886. I have not found any death info on William. Their father was William Allison Coleman. All were from Cabarrus county area. Hope to hear from you to discuss Mark Coleman son of Nicholas Kuhlman. I had traced as far as Mark, but have been stuck since 1990 until tonight.
