Does anyone know the origins of the Donneslon of Caswell County, North Carolina? I've read a few different references, but have found nothing concrete. I believe it's an Irish or Scottish name.

Humphrey DONNELSON. Died in 1871 in Caswell Co, North Carolina, USA.

In 1780, Humphrey married Mary Hannah RILEY.

Mary Hannah RILEY. Died in 1790 in Caswell Co, North Carolina, USA.

They had the following children ...
