That's wonderful! Any potential hints would be closer than what I have on it. Even exclusions are progress. Wherever it towns out being, I am sure it is likely undocumented.

There is a "Scott family" cemetery near Cunningham, NC, (that may or may not have part of my family in it, that is directly related to the granddaughter of Ben Poteat) that's very small and it's been there for many years. I doubt it's on any official registry or anything. There are some unmarked burial locations and some just have a pile of rocks.
