After reading Jethro Brown's will on Family Search, I think there is a connection, but I do not think that William V Brown was Jethro's son William Brown. Jethro's will had his son William Brown ( his middle initial was either E or G, can't tell from his signature) as one of the executors of his estate. Within that document though it mentions William V Brown (exactly as typed) twice. Once as owning Jethro's store $5.88 and later in the document Jethro leaves that same exact amount to William V. Brown. The will wouldn't have had William V Brown & William Brown listed two different ways if they were the same people. I feel though that there is a connection. Maybe William Brown was William V Brown's father, but this is pure speculation.
