I must not be reading your response right. You say that you think Sarah Jarvis married John Padrick. Sarah Jarvis Padrick was still alive in 1775 when her father wrote his will but you said that John Padrick married an unknown lady who died before 1754! Or are you saying she was the wife of John Padrick, Jr?

Also you said Peter PADRICK Sr. was b. est 1732 Outer Banks, Currituck Co, NC and d. April 1796 Onslow Co, NC. This must be another Peter Padrick who died in Onslow Co. because there is a will for Peter Padrick in Currituck Co. He wrote his will 10 Oct 1798 and it was proven 7 Jun 1800 in Currituck Co. [Currituck Co. Will Book 2, pp. 160-161]. He states he is Peter Padrick of "Powels Point", Currituck Co. You can view the will here: http://www.rootsweb.com/~nccurrit/wills/padrickpeter1798.htm...
He specifically names his two sons Daniel and Caleb.

Maybe I am just having trouble following your numbering but I am not sure who you are saying was Peter's father?

Where did you find a copy of the will of John Padrick, Sr. You say he wrote it in 1754 in Currituck Co. It isn't in Jones Abstracts of Currituck Co. Wills and it isn't in Grimes Abstracts of North Carolina Wills. Would you please post it. I would love to have a copy.

Jean
