their son William Doxey (9/11/1779) married Abi Mathias (3/15/1786) their son Lattimore Doxey (abt 1820) married Nancy Cherry (abt 1818)

John Doxey and Mary Fisher were from England.They came over with John's brother. John stayed in Currituck Co and his brother moved on. I did know where but right now I can't find it in my notes.

Louetta Doxey's brother Christopher Columbus Doxey was my great-grandfather.
